Early Childhood
My passion for technology didn't start in a boardroom; it started in the tech aisle of Walmart. As a kid, while my family went to shopped for groceries, I was glued to the electronics section, absorbing everything new—from the latest mobile phones to the newest gaming consoles. That curiosity ran deep. I have vivid memories of dismantling things just to see how they worked—even if it meant nearly electrocuting myself trying to understand a lightbulb or figuring out what made a Nintendo 64 game cartridge tick. I wasn't just using tech; I needed to understand the mechanics behind it.
Education
In 2020, I enrolled in a programming course, ready to build digital worlds. But I quickly learned a valuable lesson: I didn't want to spend my life hunting for missing semicolons. I realized that my passion wasn't in writing the code, but in creating the result. I discovered that modern "no-code" tools allowed me to build powerful digital products without getting bogged down in the syntax. This realization changed everything. I switched my focus to Business Marketing, graduating in 2023 with a clear vision: to bridge the gap between complex technology and practical business needs.
Unexpected Circumstances
JDWS wasn’t planned; it was born from a desire to help. In 2020, I reached out to a local coffee roaster struggling to complete their website. While I lacked a portfolio, I possessed the drive to learn and succeed. Helping them launch their Shopify site—and earning my first $200 check—demonstrated my ability to not only perform this work as a job but also that local businesses needed a reliable partner who could simply “get it done.” Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to becoming a one-stop shop for businesses seeking to navigate the digital landscape.
